Environmental Compliance, Inc. (ECI) is a full service environmental health and safety company providing expertise worldwide. ECI specializes in providing strategic environmental health and safety compliance planning, development of least-cost compliance alternatives, government agency negotiations, implementation of least-cost-alternatives, merger and acquisition assistance, and loan development and execution for the World Bank and Asian Development Bank.

Since 1998 ECI has provided a number of food processors and industrial process facilities, facility wide environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance turnkey (i.e., one-source) services including but not limited to design, construction, and management services. These process facilities were provided multimedia environmental, health, and safety evaluations/reviews that identified regulatory areas of potential concern that were subsequently corrected with the guidance and support of ECI personnel.

ECI has obtained Title V permits and state facility air permits; facility air registrations; petroleum bulk storage (PBS) and chemical bulk storage (CBS) certifications; designed and closed PBS and CBS tank systems; filed and obtained SPDES/NPDES water discharge permits; permitted facilities with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); filed Form-R reports; developed software for and filed annual air emission inventories for Title V permitted facilities; and performed other relevant regulatory environmental compliance requirements for private clients.

ECI has prepared facility Spill Prevention Reports (SPR), Storm water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans; Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) and Contingency Plan and Emergency Procedures documentation; PSM, RMP, PHA, and PSA documentation, and provided spill response management and oversight activities to mitigate environmental and human health impacts and filed appropriate agency(s) spill event documentation.

ECI has successfully negotiated order-on-consent issues, performance test protocols, compliance assurance plans, and emission reduction credits with lead agencies. ECI has provided turnkey services for design, engineering, and construction of petroleum and chemical bulk storage systems, bio-cells, wastewater treatment systems, and air emissions reduction and monitoring, water treatment and monitoring systems. ECI has developed and trained facility employees to comply with ISO14000 standards.

ECI provides facility wide compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) standards that have been developed and published under Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations and with few exceptions contained in Part 1910. ECI uses on-line information provided by the agency, experienced personnel, and a number of specialized checklists developed by ECI to assist the facility comply with appropriate regulations and standards. ECI also develops and implements extensive training programs for compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
